Tombstone Exploration Corporation Announces Appointment of First Chairman of the Board

Phoenix, Arizona--(Newsfile Corp. - September 28, 2017) - Tombstone Exploration Corporation (OTC Pink: TMBXF), a fully reporting company, announced today that Mr. Daniel A. Cistone, a current Independent Director of TMBXF, has been appointed Chairman of TMBXF's Board of Directors. Mr. Cistone joined TMBXF as an Independent Director in December 2015.

Mr. Cistone brings his broad technical background and proven boardroom leadership experience to the role of Chairman. He has strong experience and expertise in finance, which includes acquisitions and startups both domestically and abroad, as well as management of those companies, and will be a huge asset to the Company.

Mr. Cistone is the President of Daniel A. Cistone's Consulting LLC. and serves as a Director on several corporate and local boards in his community.  Previously, he spent 40 years with M&C Specialties Co., a global fabrication company, as CFO/CEO.  He received his BSBA in Accounting from Villanova University, Villanova, PA.

Mr. Cistone stated, "I am honored and thrilled to assume the position of Chairman of the Board. Having been involved with the organization for the past several years, I now am able to contribute on a more regular basis and can work more closely with Alan Brown and our consultants to move this company to the next level. Serving as a CFO and CEO for 40 years and participating on various boards, I now hope to use that experience to address the issues needed within our organization to foster growth and stability. Outside of the boardroom, our Stardust property is moving into Phase II and we are anxious to complete this phase and report what we believe will be outstanding results."
