Carpathian, an exploration and development company, has projects in Brazil and Romania. The company is developing near-term gold production on its 100% owned Riacho dos Machados Gold Project in Brazil, where the company is completing the re-commissioning of the processing plant. The property currently comprises 17 exploration licenses and one mining concession for a total area of approximately 28,151 hectares.
The company is also progressing with its exploration and development plans on its 100% owned Rovina Valley gold/copper project located in Romania. Rovina Valley covers 93.5 square kilometres in the historic gold producing "Golden Quadrilateral" mining district.
On a company wide basis, the Corporation currently hosts NI 43-101 resources of 8.1 million ounces of gold in the measured plus indicated categories and 0.9 million ounces of gold in the inferred category, as well as 1.4 billion pounds of copper in the measured plus indicated category and 97.0 million pounds of copper in the inferred category.
