Its Kelowna-based THC BioMed Ltd subsidiary is at an advanced stage of the Health Canada MMPR application process, with Health Canada's Pre-License inspection completed.

Having reached the 7th and final stage with this application, the next step, if the application is approved, would be the granting of an MMPR License by Health Canada. This would allow the company to produce marijuana but not sell it to the public until it has graduated to a "Fully Authorized Licensed Producer" status, at which time it would be able to sell its product to eligible persons under the MMPR.

The company also provides consulting services to aspiring MMPR Licensed Producers and to those already in possession of their license that are seeking guidance through the graduated licensing process from the cultivation stage to becoming fully authorized Licensed Producers.

The company plans to develop other products and services for MMPR Licensed producers, focusing on medical cannabis research & development, plant innovation and life sciences.
