The company completed an initial public offering of 1,666,667 common shares at $0.15 per share, with Haywood Securities acting as agent for the offering.
Loma Vista is a junior mineral exploration company focused of the exploration, discovery and development of base metal and precious metal mineral deposits in Canada and other parts of the world.
The corporation's sole asset is an option to acquire a 100% undivided interest in the Dorothy Lake Project, which consists of a contiguous block of two staked claims comprising 26 claim units covering a surface area of 416 hectares in the Meen Lake Area in Ontario. This block is located approximately 11 kilometres northwest of the historical Golden Patricia Mine Property and 76 kilometres west of Pickle Lake.
The property is positioned to cover a possible northwest extension of the favorable gold-bearing Golden Patricia Mine structure. Previous drilling in the West zone in 1988 returned a best assay of 13.7 grams per tonne gold over 1.5 metres and drilling in the Main zone returned a best assay of 472.8 grams per tonne gold over 0.5 metres.
Loma Vista must complete a series of payments totalling $375,000 over four years, along with a number of other conditions.
The company has 9.2 million shares outstanding, and is showing an opening bid of $0.15, giving the company a capitalization of approximately $1.4 million.
