    Yash was one of the founding Chapter leaders who helped to establish the Room to Read Canberra Chapter in 2009. He worked as a volunteer to raise awareness and funds to help build schools and libraries in some of the poorest countries in the world. He has been part of the organising team of many successful fund raising events which has helped to build schools, libraries and educate many girls in countries such as Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Laos, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Zambia to…

    Yash was one of the founding Chapter leaders who helped to establish the Room to Read Canberra Chapter in 2009. He worked as a volunteer to raise awareness and funds to help build schools and libraries in some of the poorest countries in the world. He has been part of the organising team of many successful fund raising events which has helped to build schools, libraries and educate many girls in countries such as Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Laos, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Zambia to name a few. As part of his duty as chapter leader Yash has talked to primary and secondary school students as well as to corporate organisations and government departments. Yash has had the privilege to visit India and Nepal to see first hand the amazing work that Room to Read does as part of Chapter Leader trek with other Chapter leaders from around the world. Whilst moving from Canberra in 2014 Yash remains a big supporter of Room to Read.
